The conflicts in the Nexus are escalating. It is certain that before long a full scale war will begin in earnest. There are those in the Nexus who already believe that House Delphi has chosen sides. I state otherwise definitively today.

Delphi is not a house of warriors. Ours is not a path on the battlefield. The members of Delphi are all strong-minded individuals with their own views. Nevertheless, I am counseling my house to keep clear of the war and its entanglements. Delphi will maintain a policy of neutrality. We are oracles, researchers, and recorders of history. We will continue to do what we do best.

Furthermore, as Chair of the Nexal Council, it would be completely inappropriate for me to support only a fraction of my constituents. It is my task to defend the interests and needs of the Avatar community as a whole. I will continue to provide a neutral ear to the voices of every avatar. Justice is only justice when it applies to everyone. It is my intention that the judicial and penal system of the Nexal Council be implemented under non-partisan leadership.
